Every all education boards give HSC scholarship grounded on HSC result.There are eight general education boards and one Madrasha education board in Bangladesh. They are Dhaka Education Board, Chittagong Education Board, Jessore Education Board, Barsial Education Board, Comilla Education Board, Dinajpur Education Board, Sylhet Education Board, and Rajshahi Education Board and Bangladesh Madrasha Education Board.

HSC scholarship is given for only teaching period. HSC scholarship is given in two groups – Merit Scholarship and General Scholarship. Students will get stipend Tk. 550/- monthly & Tk. 1200/- yearly for Merit scholarship and Tk. 250/- monthly & Tk. 500/- yearly for General scholarship.
